European Regulation EC No. 1907/2006 for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (= REACH) became effective mid 2007. It is valid in all EU Member States and the European Economic Area.
REACH is addressing manufacturers and importers who either produce or import chemicals of one ton or more a year. According to REACH-Regulation Art. 33 companies are obliged to inform their downstream users if and to which extend certain substances are part of their products. This obligation refers to substances of Very High Concern named in a published Candidate List.
For our machinery programme we can provide following statement: All our machinery supplies are non-chemical products. Under normal circumstances and proper handling none of the substances shown in the Candidate List (http://www.echa.europa.eu/chem_data/candidate_list_table_en.asp) will be released. According to our current knowledge none of those substances are part of our products in a concentration > 0.1%.
Same statement applies to packaging materials distributed by us. According to confirmations provided by our suppliers none of the substances shown in above mentioned Candidate List are included in a concentration > 0.1%.
