VC999 launches the new VC999 RS Compact 4
To broaden its range of machines and as the ideal addition to the existing compact rollstock thermoformer RS Compact 3 with a film width of 321 mm, VC999 has launched RS Compact 4 with a film width of 421 mm. This new machine now enables the production of wider and larger packaging.
RS Compact 4 allows the production of vacuum packaging, MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), skin-film packaging or can be used to simply seal products. It is designed for rigid and flexible films, as well as rigid trays and flexible packaging. Various packaging formats can be realized by simply exchanging the dies.
RS Compact 4 ensures that skin-film packaging and MAP can be produced with the same tool; since all you need to do is change the dies and the sealing plate. This considerably reduces the time required for changing from MAP to skin-film packaging.
RS Compact 4 offers numerous advantages: - Individual tool design, rapid format change
- Compact machine footprint 2.5 sq meters (approx. 26.9 sq feet)
- Optimized technology ensures 70% less compressed air consumption than RS Compact 3
- Easy operation via touch screen (up to 20 programs can be pre-set)
- Skin-film version: With film pre-stroke as standard
- GS "tested safety" certificate
- Rollers for mobile application
The rollstock thermoformer VC999 RS Compact 4 is the ideal machine for entering the portioned packaging market for fresh food, as an addition to existing large packaging systems or as a substitute system for smaller packaging tasks.
It enables the cost-effective packaging of products for self-service shelves and the attractive presentation of packaged goods at the point of sale. RS Compact 4 offers optimum packaging solutions for all fresh products, such as meat and cold cuts, poultry, fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables as well as cheese, bread and bakery products. And it goes without saying that you can also package non-food products, such as technical and medical items.
