Important facts

Features of the K12S

The soft pre-ventilation prevents the bag film from abruptly contacting the product, thus ensuring homogeneous packaging with reduced creasing that is gentle on the product. This enables easy packaging of sharp-edged products without damaging the bag material.

The lid is automatic as standard. The lid closes automatically and the machine starts the packaging process. The lid also opens automatically. 

The cycle start can be controlled using the touch panel or an external pushbutton. The touch panel is not absolutely necessary for operation.

The chambers can be operated in alternation by just one person. This allows a considerably higher cycle rate to be achieved in comparison with a version with a swivel lid.

Easy cleaning thanks to the flat chamber floor with no recesses in which residues could accumulate. The round shape of the lid gives deposits no chance. Easy-clean! 

The chamber lid can be cleaned by hand in the switched-off state. The work surface is thus protected against external influences – dirt deposits are prevented.

The welding strips in the lid are fastened by means of plug connections (click-and-go strips) and can be installed and removed without tools. This user and service-friendly construction makes do without bothersome cables and is just as easy to clean as the other surfaces.

The raised suction socket prevents liquid being drawn into the pump from the vacuum chamber. A positive aspect that saves a service visit! Fast chamber cleaning is also no problem.

The unused chamber volume can be reduced with filler plates. The packaging process is shortened, thus saving time and energy.

The humidity sensor (H2O sensor) for the best possible vacuum in the shortest time.

Benefit: energy cost savings and maximum product quality.

The evaporation point sensor prevents the goods from losing weight or drying out and enables the packaging of liquids. On reaching the evaporation point (best possible vacuum), the machine switches automatically to welding mode, shortens the cycle time and reduces energy consumption. Liquid, moist or tempered products are thus nevertheless evacuated to the best possible maximum value.

Stainless steel angled insert for the packaging of liquids. Sauces are packaged effortlessly in bags. Also ideal for stand-up pouches.

Staged vacuum:
For beautifully packed products! Vacuuming in stages with waiting intervals (staged vacuuming) is suitable for fragile and porous products where there is a risk of the products ballooning or being damaged (crack formation) if vacuuming takes place too quickly. Staged vacuuming can also be used to remove air bubbles from a product (ideal for meat loaf, lung, strong-tasting cheese, puff pastry, viscous liquids and more). 

Intermediate ventilation:
For attractively packaged products without "stains or bubbles" on the surface! It is excellent for moist products that tend to foam / evaporate at the surface under vacuum. The intermediate ventilation of the vacuum chamber before the sealing process ensures that the vacuum bag is contacting the product and prevents the effect described above. 

Pre-ventilation (soft ventilation):
Thanks to soft ventilation, the film / bag wraps itself gently and evenly around the product. Pre-ventilation prevents the film / bag from abruptly contacting the product and enables the effortless packaging of sharp-edged products without damage. Creasing is clearly reduced.

The user interface can be set to the customer's official language.

The stored programs (recipes) are password-protected. Inadvertent changing of the programs is ruled out and sources of error are prevented. The output quality remains constant.

The machine can be pushed on its castors and rolled to a new location. This leaves room for a subsequent or future workplace arrangement.

As standard, the lid opens and closes automatically. This saves a work step and the weight of the lid does not have to be lifted by hand. So it's also good for your health!

The spacer enables the machine to be placed up against the wall and the lid is protected against damage.

Vacuum pump with outstanding performance features

VC999 machines are also available with MAP. The protective gas option MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) is particularly suitable for extending the shelf life and preserving the color of pressure-sensitive or pointed products.

The following economic and ecological benefits result from an outsourced pump: 

  • Reduction of noise emissions in the production area, which means pleasant working conditions for the user. 
  • The waste heat from the pump is outsourced. The heat is emitted, for example, in the plant room and not in the cooled working area. Costs are saved by lower energy consumption. 
  • No unpleasant odors at the workplace. 
  • Maintenance is not carried out in the hygienic working area. Improved hygiene during maintenance. Oil and oil filter changes can take place in the adjoining room and therefore do not affect the hygienic working area.
